Pieter Stuyven schittert in het discuswerpen bij de junioren en ambieert deelname aan het EKU20 2023 in Jeruzalem.
Eén van die veelbelovende talenten bij de junioren is Pieter Stuyven. Op de Flander cup wedstrijd in Merksem wist bij een schitterende prestatie te leveren in het discuswerpen. HEL thrower Pieter wist zijn discus 54m02 ver te planten. Onlangs kreeg hij van de dokter positief nieuws om zijn geliefkoosde sport werd te beoefenen.
Met deze worp veroverde hij de eerste plaats in het discuswerpen. Deze overwinning en prestatie is een belangrijke mindset voor het verdere verloop van dit seizoen en een bevestiging van zijn potentieel als discuswerper.
Het is Pieter zijn droom om een deelname op het Europees kampioenschap 2023 EKU20 in Jeruzalem te verwezenlijken. Daarvoor moet hij een worp van 56m60 kunnen verwezenlijken. Nog een serieuze afstand maar niet onhaalbaar. Zijn techniek is zeker voor verbetering vatbaar. Met voortdurende inzet, training en ondersteuning zal Junior Pieter Stuyven er alles aan doen om zijn ambities waar te maken. De HEL throwers zullen hem daarin zeker steunen.
Ook deed de mama van Pieter, Katrien Huysse na maanden revalideren terug haar intrede. In Waregem wierp ze de discus 19m43 ver. Welkom terug Katrien !
EKU20 2023 Jeruzalem in zicht
Finn knalt er weer persoonlijke records uit.
Op onze 1e jaar miniem Finn De Maere staat echt geen maat . Onze jongste HEL thrower blijft de discus maar verder werpen. Nu naar een persoonlijk record van 35m92. In vergelijking met vorig jaar werp hij bijna dezelfde afstand, op 1 meter na (36m98), met een zwaarder gewicht. Sterk hoor! Het speerwerpen was ook weer een record. De speer prikte op 30m90 in het gras. In het kogelstoten had Finn het ook bijna te pakken met 10m65 (record 10m78). Super dagje Finn!
